Thank you so much for sharing this. My kids, 2nd and 3rd graders, are in public school..
We recently moved and I'm no longer happy with public school. My son, an aspergers child, is miserable with the force pushed on him to conform. The teachers at this school don't help him like his old teachers and what was a straight A student is now having B's & C's...
Hubby isn't thrilled with the home schooling idea, but has agreed to consider it for the next school year, provided I research and prove my case convincingly. The thought of jumping into this is a lil overwhelming so I really appreciate lil tips like this :)

I'm so sorry to hear that your new school isn't helping your son. :( That's why we left public school. There are a ton of resources out there and I highly recommend going to HSLDA (Homeschool Legal Defense Association) just to check into the rules in your state before you begin. Best wishes! I think you will love homeschooling once you get past the overwhelming part!
